- To provide information that you have requested from us

- To inform you of future opportunities that we believe may be of interest to you, such as upcoming events at Buckminster
- To inform you of any business, website or operational changes.

1. Collection of Information
In order to complete a tenancy enquiry/agreement, booking or service contract with us, you are required to provide certain basic personal details. In addition, you may choose to provide Buckminster with additional information about yourself, or we may collect necessary information in the process of any correspondence with you.
Based on what you tell us about yourself and where we think it is relevant, we may contact you to provide information about Buckminster, our products and services, but you may tell us at any time not to do this by getting in touch with your usual point of contact.
We only collect basic online data about you which does not include any special types of information or location-based information. This does include name, address, email, IP address etc and Information about your use of our site including details of your visits such as pages viewed and the resources that you access. Such information includes traffic data, location data and other communication data.
We also collect information provided voluntarily by you. For example, when you register for information, make a booking, or provide information when you communicate with us by any means.
2. Children’s Information
Information gathered by us concerning minors will be used by us strictly as necessary for the provision or supply of appropriate goods and services only and for no other purpose.
3. How We Use Information That We Gather
Buckminster uses the information obtained as stated in the summary at the start of this Policy to provide and improve our service to you on- and off-line, or in the management of your duties to ourselves.
Buckminster does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

We never give your details to third parties to use your data to enable them to provide you with information regarding unrelated goods and services.

5. Internet Privacy and Cookies
We are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our customers, website visitors, consultants and contractors.
We do update this Policy from time to time, so please do review this Policy periodically.
In our effort to provide you with services customised to your interests, we use “cookies” to assist in the collection of information. A cookie is a small data file containing information that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Such information will not identify you personally. It is statistical data which does not identify any personal details whatsoever.
Tracking information, such as cookies, is also used to create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns on the website and may be provided to our partners. At present we have no plans to have advertisers on our website.

Currently we do not take payments via our website, although this may change in the future. Payments are conducted via an email/paper invoicing system and we accept cheques or are able to take card payments in person or over the phone via a terminal.
7. Correction/Updating Personal Information
If you would like to change your details, please telephone or email your usual point of contact. Keep in mind, however, that there will be residual information based on our historical relationship with you, such as past tenancy agreements or bookings, which will remain within Buckminster’s databases, financial records and other records, which may or may not contain such personally identifiable information.
You may also opt out of receiving promotional information from Buckminster at any time by telephoning or emailing your usual point of contact.
8. Storing Your Personal Data#
We store your personal information in both secure digital and paper form.
Unfortunately, the sending of information via email or the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically: sending such information is done entirely at your own risk.
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of six years after which time it will be destroyed. The information we use for marketing purposes will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. Requests for your information to be removed in part or in whole from our database will be completed within ten working days.
