Our maintenance team deal with any day-to-day repairs that arise. We work with a team of preferred local contractors.

Our commercial property portfolio includes high street and village shops, retail parades, industrial and warehousing, ground leased land, rural and urban offices, supermarkets, forecourts, and a variety of leisure premises.

Buckminster and Grantham are easily accessed being located in the East Midlands just off the main A1 arterial road. There are also rail links to London, Birmingham and York.

Agricultural to let

Our land portfolio includes a wide range of tenanted arable and livestock farms, grazing land and horse paddocks. These are generally secured for the long term and on statutory rents, enabling tenants to make long term investments in the land and farmyards.

Buckminster Broadband

We are committed to ensuring that rural communities are not disadvantaged in today’s fast-paced world by slow connectivity speeds, and have installed and launched a high speed domestic and business wireless broadband and phone line service in and around Buckminster. 

Local residents have suffered in the past with slow downloads and jittery streamed services. By contrast, Buckminster Broadband provides a broadband connection at a speed of up to 100Mb/s. All packages come with an optional phone line.

We champion business activity within the countryside; supporting and encouraging companies to set up in rural locations, by offering affordable commercial units.

For example, the Estate’s old yard now houses a thriving rural business community made up of both national and local office-based businesses. Our Industrial Estates at Sewstern and Spitalgate Level provide good access to the A1. Many employers and employees alike seek to live in one of our villages. This, in turn, adds vigour to the communities and safeguards the local shops, village pubs and community halls.

Supporting independent retail businesses

We let a number of retail properties in Grantham, many of which have had their shop fronts improved through grant funding.

We encourage independent retail businesses and are selective with tenant applicants with the aim of providing an enticing offering to shoppers as the high street looks to reinvent itself with the challenge of the move to internet shopping and out of town retail. We are creatively working with the local Council with a view to the public realm being improved and the High Street Fund awarded monies effectively spent.
