We offer two of the most exquisite ‘blank canvas’ countryside wedding venues in the area; one at a magical, exclusive lakeside in parkland, and the other, at a refurbished barn with valley views. The Barn is also a great space for family celebrations and corporate events.
Our two outstanding, licensed locations make the perfect backdrop for your big day – whether your theme is festival-inspired or you are opting for a winter-styled wedding day. Our quintessentially British venues, both nestling in or nearby the leafy village of Buckminster, allow you to blend your chosen style with an elegant rural backdrop.
Buckminster Barn is a fully restored farm building with plenty of traditional charm. Its flagstone flooring and beamed interior seats up to 60 guests, and can accommodate 120 for an evening event. If you hire our barn, you will be treated to stunning views of the countryside and have exclusive use of a private sculpted lawn that can accommodate a marquee or tipi if required. There is a fully equipped kitchen on-site and plenty of parking.
Our Buckminster Lakeside venue is set amidst 15 acres of woodland and pastureland. Its enchanting location is accessed via a private track leading to a magnificent, sweeping lake. The former fisherman’s hut is a feature and is licensed, so your ceremony can be conducted on the decking. This stunning location is only hired out for a maximum of six weddings each year, so is the ultimate in exclusivity.
Buckminster Barn is a perfect venue for parties and family celebrations. It is a calming location, and the barn’s flexible space can be styled to suit any event, for example:
